Kambo

What is Kambo?

Kambo is a sacred medicine sourced from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog — native to the Amazon rainforest. Indigenous peoples have worked with this medicine for centuries, using it for physical cleansing, heightened awareness, and the removal of what they call “panema” — a heaviness, a cloud, an accumulated weight that blocks vitality and clarity.

The secretion is applied to small points on the skin, where it enters the lymphatic system and initiates a powerful purification response. This is not a subtle experience. The body responds intensely, and that response is part of the medicine’s work.

Kambo is legal in the United States. It is not a psychedelic. The experience is physical, grounding, and clarifying in a way that is distinct from any other medicine. People who come to Kambo often describe what follows as a reset — a lightness they hadn’t felt in years.

How Kambo Works

When the secretion makes contact with the lymphatic system, a strong physical response begins — typically within minutes. Heat, sweating, and purging are common. This is the body doing what it knows how to do when given the right catalyst. Anthony prepares you completely for what to expect, so nothing during the experience catches you off guard.

The purge is not the goal. The clarity that follows is. Most people move through the peak of the experience in 20 to 40 minutes. What comes after — in the hours, days, and weeks ahead — is often described as remarkable: energy returns, mental fog clears, the body feels lighter, and something that felt stuck begins to move.

Anthony holds this space with steadiness, attention, and years of experience. You are watched and supported from the first moment to the last.

What You May Experience

Physical Reset: Many people report a notable shift in energy, vitality, and immune function in the days following ceremony. The body often responds as if something heavy has been cleared away.

Mental Clarity: The fog that comes with stress, grief, or accumulated heaviness often lifts. People describe thinking more clearly, sleeping more deeply, and engaging with life from a different vantage point.

Emotional Release: Kambo can move what has been stuck — grief, heaviness, suppressed emotion. The purge is physical, but what shifts is often far deeper.

Renewed Vitality: A return to aliveness. People often describe feeling more present, more themselves, and more capable in the days and weeks after ceremony.
